Terms and definitions of Text.ru Service

Contractor  — a User of the Text.ru service that completes Orders on the Content market and/or publishes Articles at the Article store.

Customer  — a User of the Text.ru service that publishes Orders and pays for them on the Content Market and/or buys Articles at the Article store. There are cases when any User can be a Customer if the balance has a money deposit.

Article store - the section of the Text.ru service where a Contractor can publish their Articles for sale in unlimited numbers, and a Customer can buy the necessary content.

Content market - the section of the Text.ru service where a Customer can publish an Order for writing, and a Contractor can write the article on the Order chosen.

Article - a publicistic text that is published at the Article store by a Contractor for sale.

Product - a text written by a Contractor according to the requirements of the Order chosen that is sent to a Customer via the Text.ru service.

Portfolio - the list of the direct links to the job results on the Internet that belong to a Contractor and added to the section “About me” (see also 2.10.1.).

Refinement - a situation when a Customer sends the Product of the Order to a Contractor to correct a text (the reasons for refinement are required) or returning an Article to the Article store with the help of a moderator to correct mistakes.

Urgent Refinement - a situation when a Customer returns the bought article to a Contractor to correct mistakes within 24 (twenty-four) hours.

Dispute Resolution Team - the commission of the Text.ru service Administration that deals with claims of both parties and take either a Customer’s or a Contractor’s side after the thorough check of the requirements of the Order, the history of refinements, comments to a claim.

Deadline - the date when an Order is to be completed according to a Customer’s requirements when publishing an Order at the Content market.

Rank - a number of points that a User can get or lose according to the Rules of the Text.ru service.

Order - a task with requirements, a deadline and a price (excluding “Contractor’s price”) and other details that are published at the Content market of the Text.ru service by a Customer for choosing a proper Contractor for an Order (if it is not an Individual Order) and getting a Product that is made in time and according to the requirements.

Order Requirements - a task with requirements to a Product that a Customer defines in the Order text when publishing it at the Content market of the Text.ru service.

Blockage (Ban) - a prohibition of User’s access to their account of the Text.ru service if violating the Rules (see section 7).

It can be imposed partially by restricting access to certain functions: the possibility to respond to orders, get individual orders, add articles for sale, and other options at the discretion of the Administration of Text.ru.

Fee - transferring money to the Service account from a User.

Feedback - positive or negative assessment of a User’s job written by other Users of the Text.ru service.

1. Key features of the Text.ru service

1.1. The Text.ru service provides Users with possibilities to work in the spheres of copywriting, rewriting, translations, correction, analysis, and editing texts by offering the necessary functions for work.

1.2. Ignorance of the Rules is not an excuse for Users in cases of violation.

1.3. A User is to follow all the mentioned Rules, User’s Agreement, and the Law of the Russian Federation when working with the Service.

1.4. The Administration and the Support team of the Text.ru service are not responsible for Users’ actions of the Text.ru service and any consequences connected with using or not using the Text.ru service.

1.5. The Administration has the right to change the functions of the Text.ru service at their discretion.

1.6. The Administration has the right to change and update the Rules at their discretion without the prior notification of the Text.ru service Users.

1.7. Text.ru is operated by MACHINE PLACE s.r.o. with the registered address, under the laws of Czech Republic, which has an agreement with Text Media LLC for its license. MACHINE PLACE s.r.o., registration Number is 07285639 and its registered address is at Na Folimance 2155/15, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha, Czech Republic.

2. The Rules for all the sections of the Text.ru service

2.1. It is prohibited to use the Text.ru service in order to request, publish, transfer, buy, and sell content that:

2.1.1. is harmful, threatening, defamatory;

2.1.2. contradicts the Law of the Russian Federation;

2.1.3. violates copyright;

2.1.4. is spam;

2.1.5. promotes hate and/or discrimination of people on the basis of race, ethnic origin, sex, religion, social issues;

2.1.6. contains insults of particular people or organizations;

2.1.7. promotes the consumption of drugs and other harmful substances;

2.1.8. contains the adult’s theme information and advertisement.

2.1.9. contains distorted facts.

2.2. Insulting speech including incorrect communication and obscene language is prohibited.

2.3. Long comments without sense that are not useful at all, off-topic are prohibited.

2.4. It is prohibited to use the Text.ru service in order to request, publish, upload and transfer personal data (a phone number anв email, payment details, accounts in ICQ, Skype, etc.) and the links to other sources in any form (text, pictures, etc.) and ask users to give the personal information mentioned above.

2.5. It is prohibited to sign up twice at the Text.ru service using another e-mail address if a User already has an account (both active and disabled) without the approval of the Administration.

2.6. It is prohibited to advertise services offering similar to the Text.ru service functions, including the competitors of Text.ru. Customers can do it if they need to have texts checked with the help of other services and when discussing it with a Contractor.

2.7. A Customer and/or a Contractor is fully responsible for the contents of Order requirements, texts, and articles. If there are complaints from third parties concerning its lawfulness, validity, ethical correctness of Order requirements, texts, and articles, a Customer and/ora Contractor is to resolve them at their own expense. If there are such complaints, the Text.ru Service has the right to block the content discussed.

2.8. Money deposit and withdrawal:

2.8.1. Money withdrawal is carried out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Customer’s money withdrawal including the remaining funds is carried out every Friday. It relates to the requests made until 0:00 of the withdrawal day.

2.8.2. There is a commission of the Text.ru service and other payment systems depending on a chosen method of making a deposit.

2.8.3. The currency scam is prohibited.

2.8.4. Express withdrawal has a 5% commission using WebMoney or Qiwi, moreover, the maximum sum a day is 5 000 rubles. Standard money withdrawal takes 3% for bank cards - 50 rubles min., 4% for foreign bank cards - 250 rubles min., 2% for Yandex Money, 2.5% for Webmoney, and 2% for Qiwi. Money withdrawal to a settlement account is impossible.

2.8.5. The minimal sum to withdraw is 100 rubles for all payment systems in the Russian Federation, 300 roubles for foreign ones, The express withdrawal is available after 3 standard ones to bank cards or other wallets are carried out. The maximum sum of the express withdrawal a day is 5 000 rubles, the minimal sum for Qiwi is 1 ruble, Yandex Money and Webmoney - 10 rubles, Russian bank cards - 200 rubles. The express withdrawal is not available for foreign bank cards.

2.8.6. The Administration of Text.ru has the right to request a scanned copy of the passport to provide the money withdrawal.

2.8.7. If the Administration of Text.ru suspects any kind of fraud, they can block the money on the account indefinitely until they can sort it out.

2.8.8. The payment details are to match the registration details of a wallet or a bank card owner for money withdrawal.

2.9. The violation of the rules of the Text.ru service is punished according to section 7 “Fees” of the Rules.

2.10. The Rules for a Contractor:

2.10.1. It is prohibited to use texts that do not belong to a Contractor in a portfolio.

2.10.2. It is prohibited to request, publish, and transfer the links to a portfolio created on the other services offering similar to the Text.ru service functions, including the competitors of Text.ru.

2.10.3. It is prohibited to publish an Article at the Article store or send it at the Content Market if it is written by another person or is not unique.

2.10.4. The texts of a Contractor at the Content market and the Article store cannot distort facts and contain any language mistakes including spelling, punctuational, etc.

2.10.5. A contractor cannot use the Article they sold at the Article Store or written at the Content market and in the portfolio at the Text.ru and other services without Customer’s consent.

2.10.6. A Contractor is prohibited to use Latin letters and invisible symbols in an Article text at the Content market or the Article store and take any other measures to raise the uniqueness of the text.

2.10.7. A Contractor cannot impose the services of copywriting and rewriting communicating with a Customer if a Customer does not request it.

2.10.8. A Contractors rate decreases in such cases:

2.10.8.1. passing the deadline at the Content market if an Order is accepted;

2.10.8.2. refusal to complete an Order;

2.10.8.3. when a Customer refuses a Contractor after the Deadline;

2.10.8.4. removal of an Article that passes moderation at the Article store;

2.10.8.5. the Dispute Resolution team takes a Customer’s side;

2.10.8.6. removal of an order from the Content market by a moderator that violates the Rules.

2.10.9. When a Customer pays for the Contractor’s texts at the Content market or the Article store:

2.10.9.1. A Contractor transfers the exclusive right to use all the content bought fully and in any ways that do not break the Law.

2.10.9.2. A Contractor cannot use and publish the sold content fully or partially.

2.10.9.3. A Contractor guarantees that a Customer can use the exclusive right for the content in any legal way including prohibition or permission to use it by third parties, transfer it according to the agreement of the rights disposition and give third parties the right to use it according to the contract requirements.

2.10.9.4. All the Results of an Order and its details are strictly confidential. A Contractor cannot reproduce any information concerning an Order and share it with third parties orally, in written forms, or by e-mails without Customer’s consent.

2.11. The Rules for a Customer:

2.11.1. A Customer cannot use any Contractor’s results from the Content market or the Article store if the Dispute resolution team takes a Contractor’s side and they get a money refund for an Order at the Content market or an Article at the Article store. It is also prohibited to use the Contractor’s results if an Order is examined by the Dispute resolution team.

2.11.2. A Customer’s rate decreases if the Dispute resolution team takes a Contractor’s side after the examination of any claim (see 5.9. for more details).

2.12. Any User of the Text.ru service can apply to the Support team if they cannot agree with the feedback they get. It is necessary to contact the Administration by writing a private message to the Support team defining the exact feedback and the date it is published. The Support team has the right to contact a User who gives feedback to specify its contents and reasons. The Administration also has the right to edit, add or delete feedback after they ger the Users’ comments. It is possible to dispute feedback only within a month after it is given.

2.13. The Administration of the Service has the right to edit or delete feedback if:

2.13.1. Violates the Rules of the Text.ru service including sections (2.1. - 2.6.).

2.13.2. It does not comply with its status (negative feedback is published as positive or vice versa).

2.13.3. Does not make any sense.

2.13.4. It contains subjective opinion and assessment (the objective ones are the violation of the deadline, mistakes in the text, and completing an Order without taking its details and requirements).

2.14. Any User of the Text.ru service fully agrees to the moderation of private messages sent and received via the functions of the Text.ru service that are controlled by the Administration.

2.15. The rules of the activation of a promo code:

2.15.1. A User can activate a promo code from a certain event only once.

2.15.2. Any User of the Text.ru service has the right to activate a promo code from a certain event only once.

2.15.3. To activate a promo code it is necessary to contact the Support team of the Text.ru service to specify it. When it is checked, a User will get bonuses.

2.16. If an Account is blocked due to the violation of the User Agreement or the Rules the Administration is not responsible for any losses caused to a User and third parties.

2.17. If the Administration suspects that an account is hacked, they can block the access to the finances until the matter is clarified.

2.18. It is prohibited to publish the messages from and to the Administration on other resources and services.

3. The Rules of the Content market

3.1. The rights and duties of a Contractor when working at the Content market:

3.1.1. A Contractor is to follow the requirements of an Order and send the Result to a Customers that comply with 2.10.4.

3.1.2. A Contractor cannot send the information in the Order field that does not refer to it.

3.1.3. A Contractor is to mark the keywords upon a Customer’s request.

3.1.4. A Contractor cannot mislead a Customer and make them pay before an Order is completed, send a Customer unfinished texts.

3.1.5. When a Contractor responds to an Order and takes it they are to complete it in time according to all the requirements.

3.1.6. A Contractor has the right to refuse a Customer :

3.1.6.1. A Contractor has never sent any Results of an Order before. In this case, a Contractor’s rate decreases twice as they could get for completing an order.

3.1.6.2. If a Contractor gets the Results of an Order to correct. If a Contractor does not agree with the reasons for it, it is possible to contact the Dispute resolution team (see section 5).

3.2. The rights and duties of a Customer:

3.2.1. A Customer is to publish an Order according to the right section of copywriting or rewriting.

3.2.2. A Customer is to make up the detailed requirement to an Order and give necessary keywords if a Contractor is to use them in a text.

3.2.3. A Customer is to specify the necessary volume of a text for a Contractor.

3.2.4. A Customer is to specify a price for an Order or let a Contractor set their own.

3.2.5. A Customer can accept, send for correction or refuse a ready order within 4 (four) days since it is completed, it is also possible to apply to the Dispute Resolution Team. Otherwise, the Result is sent to the Dispute Resolution Team, they can extend the time twice maximum for 7 (seven) days in total.

3.2.6. A Customer cannot publish an Order that is to be completed privately out of the Content market of the Text.ru service.

3.2.7. A Customer cannot publish Orders that have such features as:

3.2.7.1. Its price is more than 1 000 roubles if a Customer does not have enough money on the account to pay for this.

3.2.7.2. An order does not have clear requirements (there is no topic and the necessary quantity of symbols, and the point “Contractor’s price” chosen.

3.2.8. A User that did not add money to the account in any possible way.

3.2.9. A Customer cannot publish an Order with the requirements according to which a Contractor is to sign up on another website or follow a group and/or publish the Result there by their own and ask for it in comments to an Order or in private messages.

3.2.10. A Customer cannot communicate to a Contractor using the form for correcting an Order excluding the reasons for it.

3.2.11. A Customer has the right to refuse a Contractor:

3.2.11.1. if a Contractor violates the deadline when the Order is not sent to a Customer or is sent for Correction.

3.2.11.2. if the Order is not completed in a proper way or there are many Refinements - it is done with the help of the Dispute resolution team (see section 5).

3.2.12. A Customer cannot use the text written by a Contractor fully or partially if an Order is not paid for. The rule is about all the ways of illegal usage of unpaid Orders in the following cases: a Contractor refuses a Customer after the Deadline, a Contractor refuses to complete an Order, the Dispute resolution team takes a Customer’s side.

3.3. The rules of additional payment and refund:

3.3.1. An additional payment is a way to encourage a Contractor for an Order and when new details and requirements appear.

3.3.2. If additional payment is about new requirements to which a Contractor does not agree at first, it is a way of encouragement and does not make a Contractor follow them.

3.3.3. The requirements for an Order are to be added to a special field of an additional payment. In other cases, the Dispute resolution team does not pay attention to such details and requirements if therу is a claim.

3.3.4. A Contractor can return funds willingly fully or partially if they think it is necessary. A Customer cannot demand a full or partial refund. It is the Dispute resolution team that can do it.

3.3.5. If there is a money refund, the Service does not return the commission.

4. The Rules of the Article store

4.1. Rights and duties of a Contractor when working at the Article store:

4.1.1. A Contractor is to use a header, subheadings, and description that corresponds to the text of an Article.

4.1.2. A Contractor is to study the text “How to avoid Refinement” before sending an Article for moderation and follow all the requirements mentioned.

4.1.3. A Contractor is to define the content correctly when sending an Article to the Article store (copywriting/rewriting) and choosing the corresponding category.

4.1.4. A Contractor is to send an Article for moderation after it is checked for uniqueness automatically.

4.1.5. A Contractor has the right to edit or delete an Article any time before it is sold if it is not being checked by a moderator, delete an Article if not being checked by a moderator, and is not under section 4.3.

4.1.6. If the percentage of Refinements is more than 33 at the Article store, a Contractor is to pay an additional commission. The percentage of the commission is as twice as less the percentage of Refinements.

4.1.7. When an Article is sold, it is a Customer that gets the rights for the text and a Contractor cannot share or sell the Article in any way and is to delete its copies published on the other services.

4.2. If a Contractor violates sections 4.1.1.-4.1.3, it is sent for Refinement by a moderator of the Article store.

4.3. A Contractor cannot delete and add an Article to the Article store one more time if it is sent for Refinement or is blocked. In this case, a moderator bans it forever.

4.4. If a Contractor refuses the Urgent Refinement at the Article store instead of applying to the Dispute resolution team, an Article is under 5.6.3. automatically.

4.5. Rights and duties of a Customer when buying an Article at the Article store:

4.5.1. A Customer has the right to send an Article for Refinement within 24 hours after buying it if an Article does not correspond with sections 2.1. or 2.10.4. If a Contractor does not correct the text within 24 hours, it automatically gets to the Dispute resolution team.

4.5.2. A Customer has the right to apply to the Dispute resolution team within 24 hours after buying an Article at the Article store if its description does not comply with its contents or does not have the uniqueness that is claimed.

4.6. It is prohibited to sell Articles at the Text.ru service bought at the Article store or ordered at the Content market.

4.7. The Administration has the right to block or delete an Article published at the Article store if it violates the rules of the Text.ru service without prior notice of a Contractor.

4.8. The Administration has the right to change Article moderation rules at the Article store without additional notice of Users.

5. The Rules of Dispute resolution

5.1. The Dispute resolution team claims the dispute within 3 (three) days.

5.2. When claiming the situation at the Content market, the Dispute resolution team takes into consideration Order requirements, Order attachments, the quality of work, and the number of refinements.

5.3. As for a claim at the Article store, the Dispute resolution team takes into consideration the text of an Article at the Article store, its description, headings, and passages (random sentences from the text that are seen when previewing the text before buying).

5.4. The Dispute resolution team takes a Customer's side at the Content market if:

5.4.1. A Contractor’s text does not comply with sections 2.1. or 2.10.4.

5.4.2. A Contractor’s text has a low uniqueness (lower than it was specified in Order requirement or lower than 90% if it was not specified).

5.4.3. A Contractor’s text does not comply with Order requirements of a Customer.

5.4.4. A Contractor’s text contains at least 3 (three) or more spelling, punctuational, and other language mistakes according to section 8.

5.5. The Dispute resolution team takes a Customer's side at the Article store if:

5.5.1. An article does not comply with sections 2.1. or 2.10.4.

5.5.2. The contents of an Article does not comply with its description.

5.5.3. The uniqueness of an Article does not comply with the claimed one.

5.6. After the Dispute resolution for a Customer at the Article store or the Content market:

5.6.1. The payment for the Article bought by a Customer at the Article store or ordered at the Content market is returned to a Customer's account.

5.6.2. A Contractor is imposed a fine that can be canceled by the Administration if a claim is dealt with partially.

5.6.3. All the rights for an Article bought at the Article store or the text written at the Content market are transferred to a Contractor, however, it is deleted from the Service forever.

5.6.4. A Customer has the right to leave negative feedback to a Contractor concerning the appealed Results for an Order at the Content market or an Article at the Article store. If it is resolved partially, the Dispute resolution team can prohibit a Customer to leave feedback concerning the Order or the Article.

5.7. The Dispute resolution team takes a Contractor’s side in the claim at the Content market when all the terms mentioned are complied with:

5.7.1. The Contractor’s text corresponds with 2.1. and 2.10.4.

5.7.2. The Contractor’s text corresponds with all Customer’s requirements.

5.7.3. The refinement is not justified and its conditions go beyond the Order requirements.

5.7.4. The text contains no more than 2 (two) spelling, punctuation, language mistakes according to section 8.

5.8. The Dispute resolution team takes a Contractor’s side at the Article store when all the terms mentioned are complied with:

5.8.1. The Article complies with sections 2.1. or 2.10.4.

5.8.2. The Article description makes its contents clear.

5.8.3. The uniqueness of an Article complies with the claimed one.

5.9. When a Contractor’s claim at the Article store or the Content market is resolved:

5.9.1. The payment for the Article bought at the Article store or the Order completed at the Content market is transferred to a Contractor’s account from a Customer’s one.

5.9.2. A Customer is imposed a fine three times more rate points they could get when paying for the Order at the Content Market or buying the Article at the Article store. The fine can be canceled by the Administration if a claim is dealt with partially.

5.9.3. A Contractor keeps the rights of the text.

5.9.4 Contractor has the right to leave negative feedback to a Customer concerning the appealed Results for an Order at the Content market or an Article at the Article store. If it is resolved partially, the Dispute resolution team can prohibit a Contractor to leave feedback concerning the Order or the Article.

5.10. The text gets to the Dispute resolution after a Contractor sends it to a Customer to check if a Customer does not do the following - accepts the Result, sends it to refinement, applies to the Dispute resolution team within 4 (four) days. The Dispute resolution team extends the period for accepting twice for 7 (seven) days in common. When the Result is accepted automatically, the Dispute resolution team is not responsible for its quality and completeness.

6. The Rules of using PRO-account of the Text.ru service

6.1. If a User violates the Rules of the Text.ru service, the Administration has the right to deactivate PRO-account of the User with the compensation for the days left. If a User got them for free, there is no compensation.

6.2. The Administration of the Text.ru service has the right to prohibit a User to buy a PRO-account for an indefinite period if a User violates the Rules of the Text.ru service even once.

6.3. The Administration of the Text.ru service has the right to change the functions of a PRO-account or deactivate some of them that are described in the section “PRO-account”. In this case, a User asks for the refund of the days left on the account within 10 days since the changes are made.

7. Fees

7.1. The first violation of the first degree (sections 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.8.3, 2.10.6, 2.10.9.2, 2.11.1, 2.18, 3.1.3, 3.1.5, 3.2.6, 3.2.13, 4.1.9 of the Rules) is a ban for 1 (one) week and/or a fine - 50% of rate points necessary to reach the next level; the second violation of the first degree is a ban for 1 (one) week and/or a fine up to 1 000 (one thousand) rubles. The third violation of the first degree is a ban for 3 (three) months and/or a fine up to 10 000 (ten thousand) rubles. The money is withdrawn from the account balance. A User gets the message from the Administration about the fact of withdrawal.

7.2. The first violation of the second degree (sections 2.1, 2.2., 2.3, 2.10.1, 2.10.2, 2.10.3, 2.10.4, 2.10.7, 3.2.10, 4.3, 4.6 of the Rules is a fine of 50% of rate points necessary to reach the next level and/or a ban for 1 (one) week; the second violation of the second degree is a fine of 50% of rate points necessary to reach the next level and a ban for 3 (three) months.

8. The appendix. Typical spelling, punctuation, grammar, and language mistakes.

8.1. Spelling:

8.1.1. A mistake in writing repeated vowels and consonants in a prefix, root, suffix, and ending of a word.

8.1.2. A mistake in a choice between ъ and ь

8.1.3. A mistake in using/missing ь after hissing sounds in different parts of speech.

8.1.4. A mistake in writing suffixes of different parts of speech.

8.1.5. A mistake in writing ‘no, not’ with different parts of speech.

8.1.6. A mistake in writing a word fixed in a dictionary that cannot be checked independently.

8.1.7. A mistake in writing popular words that are inclusions.

8.2. Punctuation:

8.2.2. A mistake in writing phraseological units.

8.2.2. Using a comma between a subject and a predicate.

8.2.3. Missing a dash when there is a zero connection.

8.2.4. Missing a comma between homogenous parts of a sentence (excluding commas between different definitions).

8.2.5. Missing a comma between homogenous parts of a sentence.

8.2.6. Missing a comma when specifying time and place.

8.2.7. A mistake connected with the isolation of parts of a sentence.

8.2.8. Missing a punctuation mark when addressing someone.

8.2.9. Missing a punctuation mark using introductory words and phrases, sentences.

8.2.10. Missing a comma when connecting parts of a complex sentence.

8.2.11. Missing a punctuation mark to single out a subordinate clause of a complex sentence.

8.2.12. Using a comma before a conjunction that connects similar subordinate clauses of a complex sentence.

8.2.13. Missing a punctuation mark in a direct speech.

8.3. Grammar mistakes:

8.3.1. A mistake in word-formation.

8.3.2. A mistake in word form construction.

8.3.3. A mistake in a phrase unit.

8.3.4. A mistake in a sentence structure.

8.4. Language mistakes:

8.4.1. Using a word in a wrong meaning.

8.4.2. Mixing up paronyms.

8.4.3. Using dialects and common language when unnecessary.

8.4.4. Misuse of pronouns that make a sentence not clear or ambiguous.

8.4.5. Using words of wrong stylistic meaning.

8.4.6. Using expressive language means when it is unnecessary.

8.4.7. Mixing up synonyms or words with similar meanings.

8.4.8. Wrong lexical compatibility.

8.4.9. A mistake when using a phraseological unit.
